GoDaddy withdraws SOPA support in face of massive protests - The Verge
I’m pretty sure this is the only time the words GoDaddy, Withdraws, and Massive have ever been used in the same sentence.
And….this is where I say “Bullshit.” A public declaration of their withdrawal of support for SOPA means nothing without an equally tenacious effort to defeat the bill as they made to get the bill drawn up and passed in the first place. GoDaddy is simply speaking out of both sides of their drooling mouths, attempting to assuage the masses who provide their sustenance, while letting the bill keep its same trajectory which they helped plot. I would still encourage everyone withdraw their accounts from GoDaddy until such time as GoDaddy puts forth considerable monetary donations to Anti SOPA efforts, as well as publicly pressure lawmakers to defeat this wholly absurd bill.
