I was in that situation with my last job. (The misery, not the boob job.) I took it, suffered through it and found another one, the right one, while I was getting a paycheck, fwiw.
Yeah, there’s nothing better than having the security of a job while looking for a better fit. They even asked me about that, considering that I’m probably a better candidate than they could have hoped for. Not to be egotistical, but I should be out of their league by all rights. Though the money isn’t bad, I’ll keep looking even if I take the job. It’s the prudent course of action (even if it does screw them over a little).
